Each year the Y addresses ever changing community needs; thus raising charitable dollars to support youth scholarships.
A Thankful Scholarship Recipient's Story:
"To whomever sponsored my child: Thank you for your contribution to make it possible for my son to obtain a YMCA membership. I am a young adult providing care for my mother and son. Thanks to you, I no longer worry about his time after school. He is now able to practice for basketball and play with his friends after school. I am very thankful and appreciate what you have done for me and my family. Every time he goes to the Y I will think about what you have done for us." – Anonymous.
In 2018, we awarded more than $186,000 in Youth Scholarships for programs and memberships. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of more than 500 individuals and businesses.
Through the YMCA's Partner with Youth Campaign, your contributions will help us provide membership and program scholarships to children who need our help.
